Frame-accurate comments and annotations
Timecoded notes pinned to specific frames. Draw on the image if words aren't enough.

Comments on a review are pinned to a specific timecode. When you click on a comment, the video jumps to that frame. This eliminates the ambiguity of "the bit about halfway through where the music changes." Every note has a precise location.
Annotations let reviewers draw directly on the frame. Arrows to point at something, circles to highlight an area, freehand drawing for anything else. The annotation is saved with the comment and visible to anyone viewing the review.
Comments are threaded, so conversations happen in context rather than in a separate email chain. The editor can mark comments as resolved when they've been addressed.
