Getting started
Uploading your first asset
Drag files into the project assets tab or click the upload button. Proxies and thumbnails generate automatically.
Open a project and go to the Assets tab. You can drag files directly into the browser window or click the upload button. Telova accepts video, audio, image, and document files.
After upload, Telova automatically generates a thumbnail and, for video files, a lower-resolution proxy that plays smoothly in the browser without downloading the original. This process takes a few seconds to a couple of minutes depending on file size.
Storage and file sizes
Your storage allocation depends on your plan. Free gets 5 GB, Team gets 100 GB, Studio gets 500 GB. You can see your usage in Settings > Storage. Large files (4K masters, RAW footage) count against your storage, so consider uploading proxies for review and keeping masters on your own storage until delivery.
Asset organisation
Assets can be organised into folders within the project, tagged with custom labels, and assigned to pipeline stages. Each asset maintains a version history, so uploading a revised cut creates version 2 rather than replacing the original.
